Will Benjamin’s Behavioral Health Services verify my insurance coverage before my first appointment?

Our staff will verify your benefits prior to scheduling your intake appointment. During this process your insurance carrier will provide us with an estimate of the cost of your visit (also known as a quote of benefits). Please be aware that this is only an estimate and is subject to change until you have received a final Explanation of Benefits from your carrier. This also applies to established patients who have changed insurance carriers or plans.

Are there fees for other services provided by Benjamin’s Behavioral Health Services?

Additional fees will be assessed for specific services (e.g., completion of forms and letters, legal testimony, etc.), late cancellations, no-shows, or abuse of the emergency line. Please call the office to inquire about these fees.

When will I be expected to pay my copayment or deductible?

Payment of copayments, coinsurance, deductibles, or self-pay rates is due in full at the time of service. Waiver of these dues may constitute fraud under state and federal law. We will have no choice but to reschedule your appointment if you are unable to pay for your visit at the time of service (except in the rare case of psychiatric emergencies).
